This week saw milestone birthdays for not one but two famous faces – Sarah Jessica Parker turned 50 (yes, for realz) yesterday and Keira Knightley hit the big three-oh today.

Two ladies well known for their style credentials; Sarah having earned hers thanks to her iconic role as Carrie Bradshaw and Keira with her Chanel contract and cool, youthful fashion flair, here we look at some of their very best looks through the years.
Sarah Jessica Parker
SJP’s off duty style is easy breezy; you’ll rarely see her papped in anything other than rolled up jeans and a loose, casual top. But she wears them well; I love a simple grey tee with faded denim, and the metallic jacket takes it to another level.
Who could forget this confection? Sarah may keep it simple day to day but isn’t afraid to take big risks on the red carpet!
This is one of my favourites, the Louis Vuitton dress is just divine. She pulls of the girly look beautifully, proving that age certainly doesn’t have to call all the shots.
We must give Carrie a look in, and here she is rocking Oscar de la Renta in the very last episode. Referencing the famous tutu of the opening credits, it’s Ms. Bradshaw through and through.
Keira Knightley
People seem to be divided on Keira Knightley, but I for one am a fan. She seems like good fun and doesn’t take herself too seriously. Check out the reclining ladies on her shirt collar!
Her choice of wedding dress goes on to demonstrate her relaxed and no-nonsense demeanor. It could be that, due to the extravagant garb she’s trussed up in in a lot of her movies, she doesn’t need a day to go all out, but still she looks like such a happy bride.
This dress she wore to a Begin Again premiere, the movie directed by Irishman John Carney, does the red carpet justice while being fresh and pretty. And modest without being prim!
One of the most drooled over dresses in film history, Keira made millions green with envy in this drop-dead-gorgeous emerald number. Little black dress, eat your heart out.
So Happy Birthday you two! Here’s to the next decade of style.
